1816 – Sir William Withey Gull was born, (31.12.1816 – 29.01.1890), English physician and clinician who worked in London. He treated the Prince of Wales for typhoid, and Queen Victora was among his patients. He coined the term Anorexia Nervosa (1874) for the “nervous loss of appetite”, the disorder that was described earlier in 1689.
