Flat belly diet

 

“Flat Belly Diet” is a reduction diet with about 1600 kcal, which uses foods from the Mediterranean diet: fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and lean meats.

An important part of the diet are polyunsaturated fatty acids that are found in olive oil, sunflower oil and flax seeds, olives, avocados and dark chocolate.

The author of “Flat Belly Diet” is the American nutritionist Cynthia Sass. She developed the plan for Prevention magazine based on combination of research, decades of studies and her own experience as a registered dietitian. She also recommends drinking “Sassy water” a beverage made of water, lemon, cucumber and ginger which is believed to appropriate hydrate the body, flushes out toxins, helps digestion and reduces appetite.

People on this weight reduction diet drink two liters of Sassy Water, and are encouraged to be physically active.
